Anita Williams Brown Tax Service was extablished in 1975 by Anita Williams Brown. The service that began in Albany, Georgia with one woman's dream of helping persons in her community obtain financial health and stability has grown to include a team of trained tax professionals serving four Southwest Georgia counties: Dougherty, Lee, Worth and Terrell. This trained team includes tax professionals with degrees in accounting and business and together, they offer the Southwest Georgia community over 100 years of tax preparation experience.
Anita Williams Brown Tax Service offers tax preparation for individuals, corporations, proprietorships and farms. This tax service also specializes in tax preparation for clergy. Pastors and other ministers experience great savings from the experience and knowledge of the tax preparation professionals who understand the demands of ministry and have the knowledge of clergy tax decuctions and benefits.
A recently added service is the lender program for first-time homebuyers, 2nd home buyers and persons seeking to refinance their home. As a supplement to this program, credit workshops are offered to inform individuals and families of proper finacial practices and to prepare them for home purchases.
